Our quilt guild has had some really good things happening for the past few months. First we had a teacher named Sharon Rotz come and teach a class called "Fat Quarter Slide" and then do a lecture with her wonderful quilts for our group. The Fat Quarter Slide method is kinda like a bargello but without all the fuss and we ended up with some really interesting quilts and I did cut into that stack of fat quarters.

On Monday we had another teacher come to our guild. Her name is Petwara Toyingtrakoon from Cedarburg and she does a very unique needle turned machine applique technique. She taught us how to do machine applique on a Hawaiian block. Very fun class and she is really hilarious and charming.
